Statistics Canada releases crucial new data on many aspects of the nonprofit sector

The nonprofit sector has been facing a data deficit for years, but a recent survey has helped fill some of the key gaps in our knowledge about our sector. In January and February 2024, Statistics Canada surveyed more than 8,000 charities and nonprofits about a variety of topics.
