Our insights allow you to evaluate your company performance with peers and drive strategy. This includes unique data from market surveys conducted by Imagine Canada. For Certified companies, in 2025 it now includes benchmarking insights based on your community investment data.
New in summer 2025, companies can complete a Practices Gap Analysis to evaluate their community investment in five areas: partnerships, reporting, strategy, DEI, and Truth & Reconciliation.
Leverage Imagine Canada's unique expertise on giving and volunteering trends and receive a training session from one of our experts. The session will help your team become better acquainted with the unique challenges and opportunities facing community organisations, and can be tailored to the needs of your employees, executives, or community investment team
Provide Imagine Canada resources to up to 10 of your community partners each year, including nonprofit Accreditation and access to Grant Connect (a value of over $20,000). Partners will benefit by either receiving a one year subscription to our funding platform to find other funders for their cause, or, a full year of participation in our Standards Community (and no application fee if they apply for peer review within the time period).
New for 2025, PRISM offers participants the opportunity to administer a unique nonprofit listening survey. Through an easy-to-implement, confidential online survey, the feedback survey allows companies to invest in their community relationships and learn how to improve based on truly candid and reliable grantee feedback.
Our program provides companies with a connection to charitable causes that would normally be outside the scope of their work. Through the Imagine Canada network of Accredited nonprofit organisations, members, and subscribers, we’ll help find you strategic partners.

The PRISM Network builds on the foundation of the Caring Company Certification by adding a suite of new resources, including advisory services, training, and cutting-edge research. While the original program was focused solely on meeting the 1% pre-tax profit giving standard, PRISM expands the scope to foster innovation and provide more support for companies to increase their social impact through best practices and thought leadership.
The PRISM Community Impact Company Network is a new initiative that brings together the renowned Imagine Canada Certification (previously called Caring Company Certification) with expanded resources for companies to amplify their community investment. It includes advisory services, training, insights, and a network of like-minded organizations committed to impactful corporate social responsibility, and shaping the future of corporate giving.
To be eligible for Imagine Canada Certification, companies must donate 1% of their pre-tax profits to Canadian charities and nonprofits every year. This commitment is verified on an annual basis to ensure ongoing compliance with the certification standards.
Being Imagine Canada Certified comes with several benefits, including the use of the Trustmark, which serves as a public symbol of your company’s commitment to community investment and responsible business practices. It can enhance your company’s reputation, build trust with stakeholders, and set you apart as a leader in social impact. Additionally, certified companies gain recognition from Imagine Canada, which can open up new opportunities for partnerships, networking, and support within the community investment sector.

Yes, any large Canadian company can join the PRISM Network, even if they do not currently meet the criteria for Certification. PRISM offers resources such as training, advisory services, and partnership solutions designed to help companies elevate their corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and move towards future qualification.
