📅 Part 1 — October 9, 2025
Finding Funding for Disability-Focused Organizations
“Disability” isn’t a strategy — it’s a starting point. This session demonstrates how broader, adjacent, and outcome-based terms multiply your Grant Connect results and surface better-fit opportunities. We’ll walk through live examples of pairing identity, program, and intersectional keywords; map programs to funders; and cover what makes reviewers say yes (hint: real budgets and pre-application conversations). You’ll leave with a practical search framework, a mini glossary of terms to try next, and a clearer, faster path from prospecting to submission.
📅 Part 2 — October 29, 2025
If You Serve People, You Serve People with Disabilities
This session reframes accessibility as part of everyone’s mandate. We’ll explore where disability shows up across programs, staff, clients, and spaces; how to gather simple feedback to document need; and how to convert that into fundable projects. Through a quick Grant Connect “before/after” demo, you’ll see how small changes in search terms open entirely new funder sets. We’ll close with practical next steps and a simple plan to map your organization’s overlap to targeted funding streams you can pursue right away.
