As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we invite you to join us on Thursday, September 24, at 1:00 p.m. (ET) for an engaging panel discussion, Reconciliation in Action: The Role of the Charitable & Nonprofit Sector.
We’ll be joined by Erin Strachan (NANPO), Jessica Gordon (YWCA Regina), and Mélanie Valcin (United for Literacy) for a discussion on how the nonprofit sector can actively engage in reconciliation efforts and take concrete steps to support Indigenous-led initiatives. From addressing systemic barriers to building authentic relationships with Indigenous communities and Indigenous-led organizations, this session aims to highlight tangible examples and practical guidance.
