In the year since Fair Funding for Nonprofits had its public launch, our coalition has gained strength and momentum – but we’re just getting started. This virtual learning event is intended to help coalition members better understand what we’re advocating for and how to help push for a more effective and equitable federal funding system.

• The rules that charities and nonprofits must respect when engaging in advocacy and lobbying
• How to secure, prepare for and execute and a successful meeting with your MP about fair funding

This webinar is intended for members of the Fair Funding for Nonprofits coalition who don’t have much experience in public policy, advocacy or lobbying and aren’t yet very familiar with our policy agenda. In early 2027, we’ll host a follow-up Advocating for Fair Funding 102 event that will dive deeper into the nuances of our policy agenda, explain how to answer tough questions during meetings with officials, and more.
