Yesterday evening Imagine Canada was the victim of an email security breach. At the time it occurred, our immediate response was to alert you of the breach and advise you to change your passwords as a matter of best practice. Additionally, we recommend performing a full virus scan should you have accessed the links in the email.
We have taken the necessary steps to determine the source of the breach and have reviewed our security systems and procedures to minimize the risk of future breaches. We can confirm that there was no data breach related to our e-commerce systems, the Standards online application, or Grant Connect.
Specifically, Imagine Canada does not store any credit card numbers or other payment information within our own systems - all such information is managed by third party solutions, which were unaffected.
